Over the past six years we’ve partnered with Strayer University on dozens of photo and video projects, the most noteworthy being our commercial featuring Queen Latifah for the Never Stop Growing campaign. Originally this shoot was a marketing initiative – we were hired to create a collection of photos and a short highlight film at the DC commencement event. The team at Strayer was moved by our video edit, and circulated the film internally among their leadership team. After a series of negotiations, Strayer decided to pull their existing TV commercial and replace it with ours. The video ran on national TV for six months in 2018 and won Ace Metrix’s #1 most inspiring ad in Q3.
Since shooting the Never Stop Growing campaign we’ve partnered with Strayer on a variety of photo and video projects. Our team has shot dozens of educational videos at Strayer’s headquarters in Virginia, and we’ve continued to cover the graduation ceremonies in DC, Tampa, Atlanta, and Baltimore. We also created a mini-series called Faces of Strayer that highlights Strayer students and their accomplishments. Our team spent several weeks traveling the east coast to meet with Strayer students and help tell their stories. The following are a few samples from the series.
Most recently we partnered with the Jack Welch Management Institute at Strayer University to provide photo and video coverage at their annual commencement ceremony in Washington, DC.
The JWMI program was founded in 2009 by renowned CEO Jack Welch. Jack was a regular attendee at the commencement ceremonies, and in 2019 we had the honor of interviewing him at his home in Manhattan. Sadly Jack passed away in 2020. This year Suzy Welch delivered a powerful keynote speech honoring Jack’s legacy and love for the JWMI students. Our team covered the event and delivered a collection of 150+ edited photos and a short highlight reel, as well as delivering all RAW footage to the client on a hard drive.
