The LX Group is a restaurant and event company based in Richmond. They own & operate several restaurants in the city including Kabana, Sonora, Switch, and Nama on Broad. Over the past four years we’ve created photo and video assets for almost all of their locations. In 2019 we hosted a charity party at their nightclub Kabana. The LX Group generously sponsored the event and donated their space – we’re grateful for their support. 

In 2020 we worked with Nama on Broad to create a short film announcing the restaurant’s re-opening. We spent one day shooting photo & video at Nama. In the morning we set up and shot all the cocktail-making shots, and in the afternoon we shot the dining sequences. Our bartender was a true professional – shaking the shaker and crafting the drinks identically while we shot multiple takes. As part of the deal, Nama added The Altamira to their menu – our eponymous bourbon cocktail crafted with Eagle Rare, bitters, and an orange zest. 

In 2019 we partnered with the nonprofit group F*ck Cancer to host a charity party. We first met their co-founder Julie through our work with 3LAU. When we reached out about hosting our own event, she was glad to help. We organized the event – securing the venue, booking talent, and selling tickets. Kabana / LX Group donated their venue, which was a large determining factor in making the event profitable. We proudly raised $5k for cancer prevention and early detection.
