We spent a day shooting photos and video with Mimi Wilson, owner of the MW Design Group. In the morning we visited several completed projects and captured testimonial footage with two previous clients. From there we moved to the MW Design studio, where we shot a short interview with Mimi and b-roll footage with her team. We spent one full day shooting and delivered this short film and 100+ edited images. Mimi was extremely hospitable and invited us to dinner at her home after the shoot – an offer we couldn’t refuse.

One of the best things about our job is how it allows us to figuratively spend a day in our clients’ shoes, and we gain perspective and learn new things at every shoot. With Mimi, we went into the project knowing very little about interior design. The interview process was natural and we asked genuine questions about MW Design as an agency, their approach, and what sets them apart. Mimi explained how some clients want to be involved in the process, whereas with others she’s chosen the books to display on the shelves. The conversation was natural, a quality that shows in the final film.
