Root to Table is a culinary event that brings together farmers, chefs, and food lovers from across the Shenandoah Valley. Each event includes a menu put together by renowned chefs using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients. We attended the spring and fall events, and built a two-day production schedule around each event. Our team walked the fields with local farmers and worked side-by-side with the chefs as they prepared each dish. Deliverables included a 4-8 minute short film for each event, and a collection of photos showcasing each plate.
One of the best parts about this project was its ties to our hometown. Our Winchester office is in the Shenandoah Valley, and it’s fun to see just how many foods can be grown and sourced from our local area farmers.
